LFR Series
Counter-top Laminar Flow Filtering/Non-Ducted Work Station.
Standard features include:
- Constructed from non-corrosive white stress-relieved
polypropylene, all heat seam welded, and tested.
- Includes a polypropylene work top slotted front and back over a built-in
spillage tray for true vertical laminar flow.
- Supplied is a heavy duty acrylic hinged front sash with sash position
hinges, all plastic.
- The system is configured to protect both the process and the operator.
- The unit is supplied with a brush-less fan/motor for energy efficiency
- The system is supplied with a fluorescent light, behind a welded polypropylene
lens.
- The unit incorporates a Minihelic Pressure Gauge, to help determine
the life of the main filter.
- A safe/easy change filter housing is provided, with size “B” HEPA
filters as standard; providing an efficiency of 99.997% (H-14) down to 0.3-micron particle size, giving a class 100 environment.
- An optional size “A” security HEPA filter may be added when
used in a mode to protect the operator.
- Supplied as standard with size “B” electrostatic FILTRETE particle pre-filters, which may also be replaced with the size “B” HEPA
filters, giving the unit the ultimate efficiency.
- Additionally, carbon filters may be added, when mild solvents or acids
are to be used.
- Located on top is a sliding exhaust panel. This allows the operator
to determine the volume of air to be discharged from the unit.
- A sealed main switch/circuit breaker energizes the unit.
- Configured for 120VAC, 60Hz -or- 230VAC, 50Hz electrical access. (Preference
requested)
- Sizes from 36" to 72" widths.
Note: Counter-weighted, Vertically gliding sash can be added as an option.
